摘要: Human papillomavirus (HPV) infection is the most common sexually transmitted disease in world and related to etiology of cervical cancer. The high-risk HPV types are 16 18; however, second prevalent type Midwestern region Brazil HPV-33. New vaccine strategies against have shown that virus-like particles (VLP) major capsid protein (L1) induce efficient production antibodies, which confer protection same viral type. methylotrophic yeast Pichia pastoris an inexpensive expression system for high levels heterologous proteins stably using a wild-type gene combination with integrative vector. It was recently demonstrated P. can produce HPV-16 L1 by episomal vector associated optimized gene. However, use not appropriate on industrial scale. In present study, vectors were integrated into genome results positive transcription production, both intracellularly extracellular environment. Despite great potential system, our suggest low yield recombinant protein, which, does make this unworkable. achievement stable clones containing cassettes may permit optimizations could enable establishment platform VLP-based vaccines.
