摘要: The influence of osmotic pressure on the growth rate a cell line (IMC-HZ-1) from moth,Heliothis zea, was studied. cells grew at approximately same in media ranging 290 to 360mOsm per kg. On either side these osmolalities fell off considerably. tolerances were similar those reported for other animal cells. Upon transfer higher osmolality, moth effected further increases osmolality medium. relationship between logarithm change and initial medium linear.
