摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter presents general information that is applicable to the culturing of most these lines. It does not deal with primary cultures or details about each specific cell line. Cell lines from 70 different species invertebrates have been reported. Most are insects, but several established ticks and snails. The developed embryos, hemocytes, ovaries, imaginal discs, fat bodies, macerated larvae, pupae, adults. Invertebrate grow rapidly within range 25–30° C. Large numbers single cells may be obtained by growing in vessels where they kept suspension. Insect culture media differ designed for vertebrate having ion balances, elevated amino acid concentrations, generally phosphates as buffers rather than carbonates, usually lower pH, higher osmotic pressures. Osmotic pressure pH important parameters formulation.
