摘要: Aerobic glycolysis is one of the important hallmarks cancer cells and eukaryotic cells. In this study, we have investigated relationship between blocking mitochondrial pyruvate carrier (MPC) with UK5099 metabolic alteration as well stemness phenotype prostatic It was found that transportation into attenuated oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) increased glycolysis. The treated showed significantly higher proportion side population (SP) fraction expressed levels markers Oct3/4 Nanog. Chemosensitivity examinations revealed became more resistant to chemotherapy compared non-treated These results demonstrate probably an intimate connection reprogram stem-like LnCap in vitro. We propose MPC blocker (UK5099) application may be ideal model for Warburg effect studies, since it attenuates OXPHOS increases aerobic glycolysis, a phenomenon typically reflected effect. conclude impaired upregulated are related shift
