摘要: This article is presented in two interconnected parts. It addresses issues that have arguably received insufficient attention most sociologically oriented criminological research and commentary on youth justice related policy practice developments, both within the UK jurisdictions wider international contexts. First, it highlights need to recognize complexities of comparative analysis at international, national, regional local levels. Second, light such complexity, attempts explore challenges confronting social science general sociological criminology particular, efforts critically inform policymaking processes. In conclusion, suggested possibilities for vibrant, critical publicly engaged academic intervention sphere rest upon mobilization theoretically empirically based analyses, together with research-informed proposals formation development.
