摘要: Abundances of positive ions and neutral molecules emanating from an active radio‐frequency discharge in CO2 at pressures 0.01 to 1 torr have been determined mass spectrometrically. The data are used evaluate rate constants for ion–neutral reactions occuring the discharge. results agreement with previous electron‐impact ion source thermalized flowing afterglows. large yield O2+ higher is attributed mainly charge transfer O2, extent which enhanced by long retention (and hence reaction) time resulting low mobility CO2+ pressures.
