摘要: An ultrafast all-optical nonlinear switch. The switch has as components a substrate and material disposed on the substrate. In one embodiment, includes plurality of single-walled carbon nanotubes polymer forming composite. Preferably, is polyimide. another incorporated into silica. nanotube loading in less than about 0.1 wt %. substantially transparent, third-order optical material. switching speed 1 picosecond for light with wavelength 1.55 micrometers. Also disclosed process preparing
