摘要: In the current study, propulsion performance of a conventional ship is experimentally evaluated via self-propulsion tests under four different pre-swirl ducts compared to case with no duct. For this purpose, Series-60 was used as an intended and Mewis duct, semicircular Becker twisted fins duct were investigated. We also tested improved by changing its hydrofoil section chord length. The thrust torque coefficients propulsive efficiency analyzed investigate performance. According our experimental measurements, we found that coefficient increased decreased using especially for higher Froude number. highest value achieved in order their appearance. reduction duct’s length change type from NACA4415 Nozzle A19 result increase efficiency.
