Clinical governance in the Irish health system – a review of progress

摘要: Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to explain the path that Irish health system has taken towards achieving good clinical governance, exploring historical influences on its’ development, some major initiatives have been implemented and obstacles encountered. Design/methodology/approach draws author's experience researching teaching in systems healthcare management.
