摘要: Sexual reproduction in ascomycete fungi is governed by the mating-type (MAT) locus. The MAT loci of Diaporthe and its Phomopsis anamorphs differ only one gene: MAT1-1-1 MAT1-1 MAT1-2-1 MAT1-2. In order to diagnose mating-types evaluate their usefulness teleomorph induction vitro biological species delimitation, we designed primers that amplify part genes. phylogenies were generated compared with ITS EF1-α phylograms. Species recognised phylogeny corresponded directly those determined phylogenies. was shown be highly variable resulting a large number phylogenetic discordant species. Mating experiments conducted existence reproductive barriers between some isolates, anamorphic morphologies compared. proved useful diagnosis selection compatible mating pairs, assessment boundaries.
