摘要: Abstract A completely renewable baseload electricity generation system is proposed by combining wind energy, compressed air energy storage, and biomass gasification. This can eliminate problems associated with intermittency provide a source of electrical functionally equivalent to large fossil or nuclear power plant. Compressed storage (CAES) be economically deployed in the Midwestern US, an area significant low-cost resources. CAES systems require combustible fuel, typically natural gas, which results fuel price risk greenhouse gas emissions. Replacing synfuel derived from gasification eliminates use fuels, virtually eliminating net CO 2 emissions system. In addition, deriving farm sources, this type may reduce some opposition long distance transmission lines rural areas, obstacle large-scale deployment.
