摘要: HIV or Human Immunodeficiency Virus, a RNA virus. On exposure to this virus, it directly attacks certain human organs, such as the heart, brain and kidneys. It plays very significant role in weakening immune system of its host. The forms framework protecting body from attack by any foreign agent like bacteria, fungus, virus type infection even some cancers reacting accordingly. primary cells attacked are CD4+ lymphocytes, which glycoprotein expressed on surface Th cells, macrophages, monocytes, regulatory T dendritic vital performing important responses body. helps direct function is via CD4 that HIV-1 enters into host T-cells. A progressive reduction number expressing occurs infection. Since maintaining proper function, loss lymphocytes destroyed HIV, barely works. With more active prolonged would deprive containing reduced count leading immunity. Opportunistic infections take advantage weak manifest their adverse effects. Many people especially during advanced stage face problems resulting opportunistic (OIs) cancers. HIV/AIDS global epidemic approximately 40 million living with worldwide (Quinn, 1996). Of all infected people, 95% developing countries. Africa worst affected continents. consists 19 countries highest prevalence reported than 24.5 million, 60% HIV-infected population. South holds record being country largest population disease, at well over 5 infected. followed Nigeria 2nd place India 3rd people. Currently about 5.134 cases present comprises 65% Southeast Asia. In India, HIV/ AIDS pandemic no longer belongs high-risk groups but now common among general (Ran & Hemalatha, 2006; Solomon et al.2006). Exponential growth threshold for India.
