摘要: Abstract In this study, the transcriptional response of grouper to Singapore iridovirus (SGIV) stimulation was characterized using RNA sequencing. Transcriptome sequencing three test groups in performed Illumina MiSeq platform. The were a control group, which injected with PBS buffer; high-susceptible (HS) died shortly after SGIV injection; and high-resistance (HR) survived injection. total, 38,253 unigenes generated. When HS group compared 885 upregulated 487 downregulated. HR compared, 1114 420 downregulated, when 1010 375 KEGG analysis, two immune-related pathways, p53 peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor detected highly significant enrichment. addition, 7465 microsatellites 22,1569 candidate single nucleotide polymorphisms identified from our transcriptome data. results suggested several pathways that are associated traits disease susceptibility or resistance, provided extensive information about novel gene sequences, expression profiles, genetic markers. This may contribute vaccine research breeding program against infection grouper.
