摘要: Subsyndromal depression (SSD) is considered as a predictor for future depressive disorders, however whether white matter abnormalities are involved in the high-susceptibility of women to disorders during perimenopause unknown. The purpose this study was investigate fractional anisotropy (FA) whole brain perimenopausal with SSD using diffusion tensor imaging (DTI). In cross-sectional study, 24 and other age-, education-, body mass index-matched healthy underwent DTI. A voxel-based analysis used elucidate regional FA changes at voxel threshold p 127 voxels (p < 0.05, AlphaSim correction). Subsequently, correlation analyses were performed between mean values significant regions plasma estradiol level. Compared controls, exhibited significantly lower left insula, while higher observed ventral lateral thalamus right brainstem midbrain. subjects SSD, value insula positively correlated levels (r = 0.453, p = 0.026) (uncorrected). Our findings indicate altered microstructures subcortical may be associated high susceptibility disorders. Estrogen modulate microstructure insula.
