Definitions and factors associated with subthreshold depressive conditions: a systematic review

摘要: Subthreshold depressive disorders (minor and subthrehold depression) have been defined in a wide range of forms, varying on the number symptoms duration required. Disability associated with these conditions has also reported. Our aim was to review different definitions determine factors order clarify nosological implications disorders. A Medline search conducted published literature between January 2001 September 2011. Bibliographies retrieved papers were analysed. There is heterogeneity definition diagnostic criteria minor subthreshold depression. Minor depression according DSM-IV criteria. Regarding depression, called subclinical or subsyndromal symptomatic 2 5 required for diagnosis, minimum weeks. Significant impairment conditions, as well comorbidity other mental disorders, described. Depression disorder better explained spectrum rather than collection discrete categories. are common patients falling below threshold experience significant difficulties functioning negative impact their quality life. Current systems need reexamine thresholds distinguish them from ordinary feelings sadness.
