The EVIDENT-trial: protocol and rationale of a multicenter randomized controlled trial testing the effectiveness of an online-based psychological intervention

摘要: Background: Depressive disorders are among the leading causes of worldwide disability with mild to moderate forms depression being particularly common. Low-intensity treatments such as online psychological may be an effective way treat depressive symptoms and prevent emergence or relapse major depression. Methods/Design: This study is a currently recruiting multicentre parallel-groups pragmatic randomized-controlled single-blind trial. A total 1000 participants from various settings including in- outpatient services will randomized treatment care usual (CAU). We hypothesize that intervention superior CAU in reducing assessed Personal Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9, primary outcome measure) following (12 wks) at follow-up (24 48 wks). Further parameters include quality life, use health resources attitude towards treatments. Discussion: The yield meaningful answers question whether can contribute efficient prevention on population level low barrier entry.
