摘要: In 1972, a procedure was derived to cryopreserve mouse embryos. Over the past four decades, this has been adapted freeze embryos of more than twenty-five mammalian species. Cryopreservation become routine in both veterinary and human medicine, having used millions mice cattle, many hundreds thousands After transfer into appropriate foster mothers, cryopreserved have developed innumerable live offspring. This article describes background that led derivation events transpired during its development. The first successful embryo cryopreservation by collaboration three investigators, each bringing special expertise perspective project.
