摘要: The molecular mechanisms of intestinal zinc resorption and its regulation are still topics ongoing research. To this end, the application suitable in vitro models, optimized with regard to their cellular composition medium constituents, is crucial importance. As one vital aspect, impact cell culture media or buffer compounds, respectively, on speciation availability has be considered when investigating resorption. Thus, present study aims investigate serum, particular main constituent serum albumin, uptake toxicity line Caco-2. Furthermore, albumin analyzed using a co-culture Caco-2 cells mucin-producing goblet HT-29-MTX. Apically added significantly impaired into enterocytes buffered cytotoxicity. Yet, undigested does not occur lumen vivo impairment was abrogated by digestion albumin. Interestingly, uptake, as well gene expression studies mt1a selected transporters after incubation for 24 h, did show significant differences between 0 10% serum. Importantly, basolateral transport enhanced fractional apical resorption, suggesting that occurrence acceptor plasma considerably affects This demonstrates zinc, particularly culture.
