摘要: Emergency medicine residents at William Beaumont Hospital are evaluated quarterly by the nursing staff. The nurse discuss each resident and reach consensus on evaluation item. Copies of evaluations given to resident, a copy is used resident's biannual meeting with program director. Between September 1985 December 1987, 45 in all three years training were staff four aspects performance: managerial skills, communication, teamwork, clinical organization. nurses able evaluate behavior not usually seen supervising physicians. Although residents' attitudes toward these have been entirely favorable, overall their behavioral interactions improved markedly.
