摘要: The objective of this study was to verify which morphometric measures and ratios are more directly associated with the weight body yields rounded fish. A total 225 specimens fish (59 pacus, 61 tambaquis, 52 tambacus 53 paquis) average 972.43 g (±115.52 g) were sampled, stunned, slaughtered, weighed, measured, processed for processing yield analysis. taken were: standard length (CP); head (CC); height (AC); (A1); width (L1). For completeness, following calculated: CC/CP, AC/CP, A1/CP, L1/CP, CC/A1, AC/A1, L1/A1, CC/AC L1/CC. carcass, filet, rib filet estimated after processing. Initially, a "stepwise" procedure performed in order eliminate multicollinearity problems among variables, phenotypic correlations then calculated dependent variables (weight yields) independent (morphometric measurements ratios). These later deployed direct indirect effects through path analysis, contributions each variable measured percentage terms. CC A1 important determining CC/A1 ratio most carcass yield. yields, L1/CC found be appropriate can used directly.
