摘要: Abstract Cytogenetic study of 14 thyroid nodular hyperplasias revealed a hyperdiploid karyotype in two cases (14%) and normal chromosomal complement the remaining cases. Some numerical alterations found were identical to ones considered characteristic subset adenomas (+;5, +;7, +;9, +;12, +;14, +;16). Our findings suggest that cytogenetic events involved pathogenesis hyperplastic lesions benign tumors may be closely related, which supports hypothesis biologic “continuum” between these types lesions.
