摘要: Polysomies of chromosomes 7 and 12 have been frequently observed by conventional cytogenetics in a subgroup thyroid follicular adenomas some cases goiters. To further study possible cytogenetic similarities between these two types lesions, we used fluorescence situ hybridization (FISH) to detect polysomies and/or isolated nuclei from frozen paraffin-embedded material goiters compared results with previous ones obtained flow cytometry cytogenetics. With set alpha-satellite DNA probes specific for the centromeric regions 12, either separately (single-target hybridization) or simultaneously (double-target hybridization), detected chromosome 35.7% 10.7% were 29.6% 6.7% The significantly higher frequency numerical alterations supports idea biological continuum karyotypic evolution both lesions. It is also noteworthy that only lesions an exclusive (or predominant) microfollicular histological component, as enzymatic on sections.
