摘要: • A polyurethane foam (Lyofoam) has been reported to accelerate epithelization of a wound. The purpose this study was evaluate its efficacy as donor-site dressing for thermally injured patients. Thus, partial-thickness injuries were made in ten pigs and covered with Lyofoam, Xeroform, Telfa, Scarlet Red, fine-mesh gauze. Gross histologic examinations failed show accelerated healing under the Lyofoam but did that Red donor sites healed fastest. On clinical evaluation, nine patients only showed separated earlier from underlying wound there no evidence suggest more mature than ( Arch Surg 114:1188-1192, 1979)
