摘要: We report that CREB (cyclic AMP-responsive element-binding protein), a transcription factor essential for long-term memory, is O-GlcNAc glycosylated in the mammalian brain. Glycosylation occurs at two sites within Q2 domain and disrupts interaction between TAF_(II)130, thereby repressing transcriptional activity of vitro. These findings have important implications role glycosylation gene regulation, they provide link information storage processes
