摘要: Trigonella foenum-graecum generally known as fenugreek, has been normally cultivated in Asia and Africa for the edible medicinal values of its seeds. Fenugreek leaves seeds have used widely therapeutic purposes. seed is recognized to show anti-diabetic anti-nociceptive properties other things such hypocholesterolaemic, anti-cancer. Diosgenin a steroidal saponin from herbs, fenugreek (T. foenum-graceum L.), well-known anticancer properties. Telomerase activity not identified usual healthy cells, while carcinogenic cell telomerase expression reactivated. Therefore illustrates promising cancer target. We deliberate inhibitory effect pure diosgenin extract on human reverse transcriptase gene (hTERT) which critical activity. MTT-assay qRT-PCR analysis were achieved discover cytotoxicity effects hTERT inhibition properties, separately. MTT results exhibited that IC50 47, 44 43 µM 49, 48 47 24, 72 h after treatment. Culturing cells with treatment caused down regulation expression. These indication impure prevents by A549 lung line, difference compound more effective than another.
