摘要: The human sleep-wake cycle is generated by a circadian process, originating from the suprachiasmatic nuclei, in interaction with separate oscillatory process: sleep homeostat. normally timed to occur at specific phase relative external of light-dark exposure. It also internal rhythms, such as pineal melatonin rhythm, propensity and rhythm responsiveness pacemaker light. Variations these relationships, those that blindness, aging, morning evening, advanced delayed sleep-phase syndrome, lead disruptions complaints. Changes ocular photoreception, interindividual variation near-24-h intrinsic period pacemaker, homeostasis can contribute variations phase. Recent findings on physiological molecular-genetic correlates disorders suggest timing rhythms closely integrated but is, part, regulated differentially.
