摘要: Plants such as Annona nutans used in folk medicine have a large number of biologically active compounds with pharmacological and/or toxic potential. Moreover, pregnant women use these plants indiscriminately, mainly the form teas, without being aware harm that they could cause to health embryo/fetus. Therefore, it is necessary analyze potential effects medicinal during gestation. The present study aimed evaluate A. hydromethanolic fraction leaves (ANHMF) on mutagenic and immunomodulatory activity, reproductive performance, embryo-fetal development female mice. animals (N=50 25 male) were divided into 5 groups: Control, Pre-treatment, Organogenesis, Gestational, Pre+Gestational. results indicate ANHMF contains flavonoid other phenolic derivatives. It was found does not exhibit any or toxicity. Based protocols studies, our analyses confirm safe pregnancy.
