摘要: Eight habitat types, defined by vegetation associations, were delimited within a central Australian arid mountain range. Floristic and physiognomic characteristics four bird community measured in each type. The latter influenced primarily physiognomy, particularly life form diversity. This influence was not directly related to the broad diversity of feeding categories habitats. Similarity species composition, as indicated both discriminant function analysis Motyka similarity matrix, affected geographic proximity rather than plant composition.
