摘要: The circular economy is an umbrella concept that applies different mechanisms aiming to minimize waste generation, thus decoupling economic growth from natural resources. Each year, estimated one-third of all food produced wasted; this equivalent 1.3 billion tons food, which worth around US$1 trillion or even $2.6 when social and costs are included. In the fruit vegetable sector, 45% total amount lost in production (post-harvest, processing, distribution) consumption chains. Therefore, it necessary find new technological environmentally friendly solutions utilize wastes as raw materials develop scale up high value-added products ingredients. Considering fruits has increased last years following need sustainable use side streams, work aimed describe chemical composition bioactivity seeds consumed worldwide.
