摘要: Notable distinctions between an embryonic stem cell (ESC) and somatic are that ESC can maintain undifferentiated state indefinitely, self-renew, is pluripotent, meaning the potentially generate cells representing all three primordial germ layers contribute to terminally differentiated of a conceptus. These attributes make ideal source for genome editing both agricultural biomedical applications.
