摘要: The oxidation of a Sm(CobalFe0.22Cu0.08Zr0.02)(7.5) magnetic alloy in air at 500,600 and 700 degrees C has been studied. temperature increase greatly promotes the external internal oxidation. scale consists thin outer layer CuO thicker inner (Co-x, Fe1-x,)Fe2O4 with distribution alpha-Fe2O3. Samarium oxide is not seen but it mainly product. Breakaway observed higher temperatures. mechanisms as well breakaway are presented, based on detailed compositional microstructural characterization oxidized zone alloy. (C) 2012 Elsevier Ltd.
