摘要: Abstract Analytical techniques are extensively used in various fields of human activity to define quality and usage safety patterns goods consumables. Between those, liquid chromatography is probably the most common, generally combined with optical detectors. Alternatively, electroanalytical provide versatile tools that offer high selectivity sensitivity a short time, using simple low cost instrumentation. Amperometric, coulometric conductimetric detectors thus well established HPLC commercially available Despite sharing some stated features, use potentiometric seems however overlooked. Potentiometry ion-selective electrodes has been highlighted both batch flow analysis systems, evidenced by numerous applications performed worldwide. The determination electrolytes blood samples, heavy metals natural water samples pharmaceutical drugs bulk drug materials representative examples. developments achieved so far hydrodynamic separation systems proved great potential potentiometry become competitive detection technique many others. Therefore, it intended present an overview about purpose enhance its importance for future analytical applications.
