摘要: The recent Kidney Disease: Improving Quality Outcomes (KDIGO) recommendations called for an investigation of the relationship between various radiological methods to assess cardiovascular calcification and measures arterial stiffness. Accordingly, in 131 adult maintenance hemodialysis patients, we investigated association aortic pulse wave velocity (PWV) with cardiac valves on echocardiography, coronary artery, thoracic aorta calcium computed tomography a score abdominal obtained plain X-ray. All tests were performed within week. Mean PWV increased as severity thoracic, scores (each P<0.05). No trend was present number calcification. After multivariable adjustment, X-ray remained associated (P=0.004), whereas artery became marginal (P=0.308 P=0.083, respectively). found calcified PWV. This study demonstrates strong borderline Sudden death congestive heart failure, two frequent causes hemodialysis, are likely caused by stiffness that can be closely predicted presence X-rays.
