摘要: Surgical resection of the endocardium and subendocardium often abolishes sustained ventricular tachycardia (VT) in patients with old myocarcial infarct (OMI), unknown myocardial disease, arrhythmogenic right dysplasia (ARVD), presumably by interrupting reentrant pathway. In order to define morphologic characteristics histologic components pathway, we carried out histopathological analysis surgically resected specimens from 17 who underwent this procedure. Bundles apparently viable hydropic fibers embedded dense fibrous adipose tissues were identified throughout obtained OMI, ARVD idiopathic VT cases. 3 VT, most areas composed muscle, which appeared histologically similar Purkinje fibres. all patients, abnormal muscle cells characterized a loss contractile elements, cytoplasm an elliptic shape. Such structure arrangement surviving cardiac following tissue injury might play important role creating abnormalities transmembrane potential, leading micro-reentrant circuits that give rise tachycardias.
