摘要: Mechanical separation of co-digestate removes dry matter (DM) and phosphorous (P) from digestate effectively but is less capable at removing nitrogen (N) potash (K). Adding flocculants can enhance separator efficiency. However, information on the use chitosan as flocculant for its effects amended slurry application to soil scarce. This study undertook a series trial error tests identify optimal dose be applied co-digestate. Four doses were evaluated: 120 (Dose 1), 240 2), 360 3), 480 4) mL L−1 After application, centrifugation was employed separate (centrifugation tests). We used simple indices evaluate effectiveness addition prior centrifuge usage. Dose optimization results indicated that incremental had no effect (p > 0.05) total N it decreased < P removal solids. 3 showed superior based physical characteristics evaluated DM content fractions produced. Centrifugation increased efficiency K, copper (Cu), zinc (Zn) (75, 36, 51%, respectively) or P. The major findings show natural relatively cheap polymer improves efficacy with respect Cu, Zn, lowering their load arable land once solid fraction applied.
