摘要: In four experiments, different preparations and modes of prenatal administration ACTH all failed to produce any substantial effects upon male sexual behavior in mice. Experiment 1, CD-1 females implanted during the third trimester pregnancy with osmotic pumps releasing varied dosages ACTH1-24 produced offspring essentially normal copulatory behavior. 2, injections high doses had no effect activity. 3, ACTH1-39 offspring. However, aggressive was significantly reduced, relative untreated controls, pumps, including those only saline. 4, third-trimester long-acting gel form on or aggression C57 strain females. most these treatment reduced body weight. These results do not confirm previous suggestions that pituitary-adrenal hormones influence perinatal differentiation sexually dimorphic
