The influence of WO3 nano-particle addition on the structural and mechanical properties of Bi1.8Sr2Ca1.1Cu2.1Oy ceramics

摘要: The effect of nano-sized WO3 (40 nm) addition on the physical and magnetic properties Bi-2212 superconductors was investigated by X-rays diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy, dc electrical resistivity, hysteresis loop measurements Vickers microhardness measurements. XRD observations indicated that number type nonsuperconductor phases changes with increasing content. With increase in W content critical temperature decreases resistivity value at room for sample W4 significantly increases. In addition, adding into samples causes a remarkable decrease area enclosed cycles. current density (Jc) 10 K all W-doped lower than pure sample, indicating superconductor negatively affect when nono-sized particles enters structure. obtained values this work have typical indentation size behavior.
