摘要: Abstract Differential scanning calorimetry was applied to the study of high temperature kinetics TiAl 3 formation from constituent metal powders. The reaction proceeds at a measurable rate above melting point aluminum. effects various experimental parameters on were determined. heating affects exothermic temperature. In range 690–740°C, equation obeys Prout-Tompkins and activation energy pre-exponential factor are 149 kJ mol −1 1.2×10 6 s respectively. 750–900°C, second-order with an 517 1.9×10 23 . These represent true intrinsic values because they directly determined by eliminating any heat transfer effects.
