摘要: Abstract In this study, Saccharomyces cerevisiae OC-2T T165R, metabolically engineered to produce optically pure L(+)-lactic acid, was used develop a high performance extractive fermentation process. Since the transgenic yeast could lactic acid efficiently even at lower than pH 3.5, efficiency achieved when tri-n-decylamine (TDA), tertiary amine, as extractant. Separation of microorganisms by means hollow fiber module not only improve total amount produced but also increase concentration in solvent. Moreover, had significant effect on fermentation. The highest rate recovery be obtained pH-uncontrolled (pH 2.5); however, lowest produced. Taking into account trade-off between and extraction efficiencies, optimum value considered with which largest solvent obtained. results show promise for use
