摘要: Background : Clavulanic acid is an important beta-lactamase inhibitor produced as a secondary metabolite by the actinomycete Streptomyces clavuligerus. chemically unstable; therefore, it degraded during bacterial cultivation . In this work, adsorbents clinoptilolite, activated carbon, calcined hydrotalcite, and Amberlite IRA 400 anionic exchange resin were studied in terms of their ability to adsorb clavulanic extractive fermentation, order prevent product degradation avoid concentrations reaching inhibitory levels. Adsorption assays used investigate effect pH, decrease concentration culture broth was measured for each adsorbent. Results found be most effective, with 78% adsorption acid. The maximum production Erlenmeyer flask cultures increased 86% mass CA, 248% cumulative CA concentration, use adsorbent compared control fermentation performed without removal. Conclusions: results indicated that using solid phase could way enhancing titers. It also possible show acts its own synthesis.
