摘要: The interceptive orthodontic treatment of patients with complex dentofacial abnormalities is frequently inefficient and produces less than ideal outcomes. Therefore, postponing therapy to a single-phase surgical-orthodontic approach might be considered reasonable option. However, other relevant aspects the patient's quality life, such as possible psychosocial problems functional impairments, should also before deciding whether intercept severe malocclusion while patient still growing, or wait treat later. This case report describes nonsurgical young Class III open-bite associated cervical cystic lymphangioma. Despite poor prognosis, 2-phase was effective. A reflection about giving up efficiency in favor effectiveness, rehabilitation, life included.
