摘要: Abstract Objective To compare removable and fixed orthodontic devices in the correction of non-skeletal anterior crossbite children adolescents mixed dentition. Materials methods Electronic searches were conducted following databases: PubMed, Web Science, Scopus, Medline Ovid, Lilacs, US Clinical Trials, Proquest. A hand search reference lists included articles a Google Scholar also conducted. References evaluated by 2 review authors. Articles that met eligibility criteria included. Data extraction, methodological quality assessment (Cochrane tool), strength evidence evaluation (GRADE) carried out. Results Seven The results showed equally efficacious for overjet correction. Removable can present inconveniences regarding pain discomfort levels, accomplishment everyday activities (leisure school), performance functions, such as chewing speech. However, treatment time costs significantly lower therapy with appliances. Sequence generation, allocation concealment, complete outcome data not concern. Blinding participants or personnel was reported any article, blinding assessor concern articles. Selective reporting certainty very low. Conclusion are crossbite. cases treated devices.
