摘要: Physiological characteristics, deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) base composition (% guanine + cytosine; GC), DNA sequence similarity DNA-DNA hybridization) and restriction endonuclease cleavage patterns of two strains Lactobacillus helveticus four jugurti were examined. All the investigated closely related genetically, having hybridization values ranging from 89-100%. Nevertheless, these can be differentiated one another on basis digestion their by specific endonucleases, such as Bam HI, Eco RI Hind III. The shows clear, reproducible distinct patterns. Cleavage L. S.35.19 S.36.2 found to similar. These findings suggest that fingerprinting might provide, in addition conventional methods, a useful tool for characterization microorganisms at strain level.
