摘要: A cross-sectional survey was undertaken to describe risk-taking behaviors and assess the knowledge risk perception of HIV AIDS among young males aged 18 29 years in 82 villages Longchuan, Yunnan, China, 1994. Information on demographic, behavioral, drug-using factors, transmission prevention, collected using an interviewer-administered anonymous questionnaire. total 1,548 individuals were interviewed 433 drug users, including 52 nonsharing injectors 140 sharing injectors, identified. Over half scored 0 knowledge, but greater injectors. Most had initiated injection after 1990. The reported incidence continues increase all three major ethnic groups. Sharing equipment common (73%) Drug users four times more likely have premarital or extramarital sex, condoms used by only 2.5%. Thus, factors promoting spreading are this area. We recommend that a community-based intervention program, targeting both men women, be implemented evaluated Longchuan as soon possible.
