摘要: Abstract Visinin-like protein (VILIP) is a neuronal EF-hand Ca 2+ -binding protein. In the chick brain, it widely expressed, e.g. in neurons of visual pathway and cerebellum. cerebellum, presynaptic localization VILIP glutamatergic parallel- climbing-fiber terminals has been observed. Here, we describe distribution immunoreactivity (IR) detected by antibodies against gerbil hippocampus at light electron microscopic level. stain whole hippocampal formation including pyramidal cells CA1 CA3 region Ammon's horn granule dentate gyrus. neurons, VILIP-IR localized dendrites dendritic spines.
