摘要: • Patients who have rheumatic disease and are undergoing long-term aspirin therapy a high incidence of peptic ulcer disease. Whether it is possible to heal aspirinrelated if intake continued unknown. Nine patients with were receiving had 15 endoscopically verified gastric and/or duodenal ulcers studied. treated daily 1,200 mg cimetidine plus at least 120 mL antacid (Mylanta II), while continuing the same dose type. By eight weeks, 14 healed. This study shows that some aspirin-associated can be healed, despite intake, by intensive medical aimed lowering intragastric acidity. ( Arch Intern Med 1981;141:781-783)
