摘要: Twenty-three patients chronically ingesting plain aspirin or nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs, who had endoscopically proven solitary multiple gastric ulcers, were treated for eight weeks with cimetidine and antacids. Plain drugs discontinued in all patients. Seven received enteric-coated throughout the treatment phase continuously entire study period (2.5–12 months). The remainder of (N=16) did not receive aspirin. An endoscopy was performed to assess ulcer healing. None seven receiving complete healing their ulcer(s) while 15 16 demonstrated (P<0.001). eight-week course antacids is ineffective completely ulcers caused by continued.
