摘要: Abstract 1. 1.|A highly active NAD nucleosidase (NAD glycohydrolase, EC 3.2.2.5) is synthesized by the snow mold Fusarium nivale. The activity appears in cell-bound or soluble form depending on composition of growth medium and cultural conditions; formation enzyme seems related to process sporulation. 2. 2.|From shake cultures a fortified glucose containing Czapek was purified 190-fold over crude extract specific 996 μmoles NAD/min per mg protein with yield 38.5%. purification procedure, primarily based high acid stability enzyme, described. 3. 3.|NAD from nivale shows maximal at pH 5–6 low dependence its Km for found be 0.41 mM. Its molecular weight estimated 27 000 isoelectric point about 7.8. specificity oxidized pyridine coenzymes negligible toward analogues. It not sensitive several adenine compounds tested, but strongly inhibited thionicotinamide NAD.
