摘要: Astrocyte-elevated gene-1 (AEG-1), also known as metadherin (MTDH) and lysine-rich CEACAM1 coisolated (LYRIC), has emerged an important oncogene that regulates key cellular processes including apoptosis, migration, invasion, proliferation, differentiation. It was reported AEG-1 enhanced breast cancer cells migration in a NF-κB-dependent manner. Also, contributed cell proliferation through the PI3K-Akt/cyclin pathway. Besides, is implicated diverse physiological pathological diseases of central nervous system (CNS), such brain tumors, neuroblastomas, neurodegeneration, neuronal development. However, role process peripheral regeneration after injury remains virtually unknown. In this study, we investigated spatiotemporal expression rat sciatic nerve crush model. At its peak expression, expressed mainly Schwann distal segment from injury, but had few colocalizations axons. parallel with proliferating nuclear antigen (PCNA). vitro, detected increased during tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α)-induced proliferation. Meanwhile, interference inhibited both cells. conclusion, speculated involved biochemical responses (SNC).
