摘要: Background Interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β) is a pleiotropic cancer-inflammation-linked cytokine which has been reported upregulated in many cancers. In our previous study, IL-1β was found to be one of the key node genes during oral malignant transformation, and glutaredoxin 1 (Grx1) identified as downstream tumor microenvironment. Grx1 ubiquitous oxidoreductase necessary for scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS) intracellular redox balance maintenance. Methods Tissues from different stages mucosal transformation were obtained 4NQO-induced rat carcinogenesis model human mucosa expression detection by immunohistochemical staining. The ROS levels mRNA level squamous carcinoma cell CAL27 detected after treatment with or without pretreatment IL-1Ra NAC, respectively. Leti-si-IL-1β Leti-si-NC cells stimulation. invasion migration abilities tested transwell assay stimulation IL-1Ra. Results associated process vivo. Exogenous cells, could counteracted accumulation induced exogenous responsible upregulation. Endogenous acted switch regulating modulating expression, involved OSCC cells. Conclusions finely orchestrated expression.
